“Think like a Billionaire” was written by Donald John Trump in 2004.

Everyone has heard of the American business magnate Donald Trump. Born in 1946 in New York city, he is the Chairman and CEO of the Trump Organization, a real estate developer. He’s also the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts, and owns numerous casinos and hotels across the world. Trump’s life has not always been a dream. He has been affected very strongly by the recession of 1989, and have to file for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992, with more than 550 million dollars owed to several lenders. What has made him strong is the belief that he would get out of this situation. In 1997, Trump had already several projects under way. The rest is history.

Among all the books he has written during his career, “Think like a billionaire: Everything you need to know about Success, Real Estate, and Life” is one of his best sellers. What Trump says in this book is that it is not good enough to want it, we’ve got to know how to get it. He gives very important advices on buying and selling and many other advices to teach how to invest in real estate, dealing with brokers and much more.

Another very important point in his explanation is that, once you’ve earned your money, the most difficult thing is to stay rich. This is the reason why he teaches how to spend money well. He even provides billionaire consumer guide about things as different as wine to engagement rings.

Today, Donald Trump is running his empire with his children Ivanka Trump, Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at the Trump Organization, and with his sons Donald John Trump Junior and Eric Trump, both Executive Vice President at the Trump Organization. According to Forbes Magazine, the Trump Organization is his most valuable portion of the Trump Empire, with a valuation of 562 million dollars.

Online business might be the solution for some of us who can effectively work from home, which is not everybody’s case.

The very first thing is to select a category, or a specialty.  This is to avoid being too diversified and loose focus.  Also, when you have a very specific specialty, it’s easier to run the business, and to give a better customer service, like, for example, an easy way to return products.

The second but still important thing is to find innovative marketing technologies, like for example, being on a good website’s referral program.  In this case, your small business could be referred to as a good company to make business with.  And every customer who would use this referral system would be rewarded by a good discount.  This is a nice way to build a customer base.

Last but not least, prices have to be honest and reasonable.  And this is going to make a big difference, since we already know that people are struggling due to this bad economy.
